After a long a journay with the train we end up at Paranesti, in any case it is worth it since there you will find an unususal Greece and ordinary people. The place seems accessible with low peaks, beautiful forests and a lot of water. But as you approach them the waters become torents, the peaks wild and steep and the virgin forests dense and inaccessible. Our plan was to cross west part of lake Nestos and Greek part of Cara Dere. Plans not prepared always to be done and this was our case .. Road that would quide us to the other side of the mountain was fall. So here it is the plan B: Paranesti - Platanovrisi - lake Thesaurus - inaccessible impasse and back - Paranesti - Stavroupoli. and a new year eve at the mountains
