Parnon is one of the most beautiful mountains of Peloponnese for cycling and hiking. Deep forests, beautiful villages and great people. When we want to bike on the area we usually take the national bus to tripoli and spend a night  in a chapel. This was the starting point for this trip also. We cycled in the heart of Parnon and passed from Karies. Karies is a village that always find people and guests on weekends. We continued to Vamvakou and Varvitsa village and set our tent for the night in the old school. A mother that owns the small tavern of Varvitsa (not working on that day) had cooked for her family a soup from beef. Gave us a bowl of it which matched perfect with our rice. A weekend we always remember especially for that soup
