Triangularly shaped piece of land some thirty five miles south of Crete lying deep into the Lybean sea... deserted beaches stretching almost all round the coastline covered with golden sand.

Cheddar tree forests in the midland, hiding tiny  villages in their heart connected by rough dirt roads...

Few inhabitants mixing with long term hippy like  visitors  give a strange essence to this extraordinary island.

Few tavernas one port one bus one policeman everything seems to be settling well in Gavdos! Us too...
